AW 2011 TRENDS!

Trendsetter....
Seeing as summer seems well and truly gone (sadtimes) I guess it's time to look onto autumn/winter. Aannd in comes my section about fashion yaaay!
I should have blogged about this ages ago but as people say it's better late than never!
If any of you are looking for where to shop for these trends the best I've seen so far is Topshop and ASOS but keep looking all around the High-Street.

My top 3 Trends.

• Girl- Boy;  Very 60's inspired more of a teddy boy look which is more rock and roll which will be edgy and fun, flirtatious and feminine. Key Items; Ankle grazers, Brothel Creepers (depending how much you want to commit to this 'teddy boy' look), fitted shirts and longline blazers.. you get the gist.

Underground Wulfrun also do a wider range of brothel creepers they have more styles and designs so check them out..

• Wild (Animal) - Anything goes snake, fish scale patterns and also fur. You can wear fur either subtly with maybe a cute scarf or fur hat or be but and go full out fur. Get in touch with your wild side :/ that sounded so cheesy but yes faux fur coats are making a comeback-- Step back Curella DeVil it's all about fox now..

This beaut coat is from ASOS and it IS faux fur and it's £70.00 so it best be able to keep you warm and toasty during cold winter nights.

• MOD - the 'modern' 60's back with a bang more pastels and tunics shift dresses and a-line skirts and knee high boots but more classy than the ones you thinking of.. This trends revolves around the colour which are all bright and vibrant.

I love this top by House of Holland the shorts are amaazing as well. the tops is £70.00 and the shorts are £195.00 Henry Holland is a fashion beasttt.

V Festival 2011..

I haven't blogged in a week, so disappointed in myself; but I'm going to get back on track!
So I didn't go V fest this year and that's suckish, the line up looked so great. So yeah I'm kinda jel of those who got to go. Apart from the awesome line up the outfits worn by the celeb's were amaze!
My style crush Jameela Jamil was there, eeek! And she looked beaut, take a look...

This combo is so effortless and o so festivally. I'm really loving the pattern on the dress and I've found some similar dresses on ASOS.

Topshop A/W 2011.

Heeeey!
So I've just seen the Autumn/Winter preview for Topshop courtesy of Sugarscape.

I really don't know how to break the news to you guys but there was Dalmatian everywhere! And when I say everywhere I mean EVERYWHERE. I'm not sure I'm feeling it to be honest; I expected something more from Topshop as I normally like all their outfits but some of the choices look too catwalk and not appropriate for everyday use.  

But I must admit there were a few outfits that I will keeping an eye out for. Like the ones below, they're such cute dresses- as usual Topshop don't disappoint in the dress department!

Dahlia..

I just found out that 'Ciao' also means hi or hello in Italian (go me!)
So Ciao people!

Just wanted to share with you my love for Dahlia the fashion label. They have a shop off Carnaby Street in London and some items in Topshop Oxford Street and also on ASOS. I've been a fan for a while and have been secretly lusting after their beautiful garments. But I thought it was time to share my love for Dahlia with you guys!

I'm literally in love with this top it's such a bold statement piece that you shouldn't really over-accessorise it and if worn how it's pictured it will be a banging outfit! It cost £52 and I have only seen it on the Dahila website and not ASOS. They also have this top in a floral and lightening print style definitely check them out.

Secondly is this black mesh maxi dress. It's the feminine look but I think that it also says don't mess with me which makes it edgy. I would wear this with some bright coloured heels just because I think it would look wacky. I like wacky. Also some accessories would make the outfit pop a little bit more maybe a long statement necklace or another piece of big jewellery. This dress is £68.00 it's well worth the investment.

Lastly, this floral dress is an absolute bargain; just £20.00 in the late summer sale. Who doesn't enjoy a sale and a beaut floral dress 'nuff said really.

Films, films, films!

Hello again peoples :)
This is gonna be another very quick and random post about all the good films that I want to watch and the films I have been ordered to watch by my pals. I've managed to choose my top 5 must see films for August.

1) Rise of the Planet of the Apes
   This film trailer had me really interested and I will deffo be saving my money to go watch this pronto.
2) Captain America
   Everybody loves a good superhero..
3) Super 8
   Film seems to have more to it than meets the eye.
4) The Smurfs
    Who doesn't want to watch the smurfs! #Epic
5) Horrible Bosses
   Good comedy (I've been told, I trust my sources)
 
There you have it the top 5 so do not complain about not knowing what to watch because there is TOO much to watch! Only God knows where I am gonna find money to see all these films :// Anybody out there wanna give me the Orange Wednesday code ;) iJoke!

Forever 21 !

Ola, this is just gonna be a real quick post about Forever 21 opening in Oxford Street last week. I still haven't been (sadtimes) but I've been checking their website since they started delivering to Great Britain; which was a few months ago.
Whilst browsing through last night I saw this really nice aztec print bag which I think is a key accessory for summer and it's 30 quid so not too pricey yaay! You can match this too many summery outfits and it will give your look some edge ;)

Ed Sheeran's Mums Jewellery!!

Hey,

Well if you are Ed Sheeran fans which I think everybody should be you would have probably discovered his mum's jewellery by now, which I might add is beyond cool. And if you haven't heard of Ed Sheeran or his mum's jewellery then it's a good thing your reading this post! These bracelets, necklaces and rings are already bursting onto the scene with Jameela Jamil and singer Yasmin sporting various bracelets. (They are my personal style crushes btw!)  

I'll start off with my fave which is the kit kat necklace..

I absolutely love that this necklace is so quirky and will definitely make you stand out. Who does love a good kit kat ayy?!

Awkward. - #ShyGirl

I absolutely loved the pilot for this show it had me roflingg! The show is getting a lot of mixed reviews in the US so I thought I may be the judge and check it out for myself.

I can relate to the show kinda which is cool for an MTV show because they usually don't capture teen life as it really is; but rest asure this does (Pheww!). It's all about a girl called Jenna who is seen battling with bullies, crushes and feeling invisible whilst being at high-school ( as the americans call it -__- ). Yes it sounds a little cliche but it is really worth a watch before you decide.

It's not actually being shown in the uk yet :/ and in case you cracking your brains wondering how I have managed to watch it, it was via the world wide web but keep it on the hushhush if you catch my drift! ;)

Keep on the look out for when its released in the UK, I shall also see if I can find more info :)
